My name is Simone Benson, known in the collector community as The Ebony Collector. My goal is to celebrate and preserve African American memorabilia and archives that reflect and honor our deep cultural significance. I believe these pieces of our history deserve to be cherished, not lost. I specialize in items from the 1950s to the late 1990s, including books, literature, vinyl records, and more!
My vision reaches far beyond my collection. I am available as a guest speaker for workshops and panel discussions centered on collecting, preserving, and sustaining our history. I also welcome partnerships to curate pop-up and digital exhibits that bring African American memorabilia to life, fostering meaningful conversations about our shared history and culture.
If you are interested in collaborating, I would love to connect!
